I like all 3 kits especially the CL one. I could jog at night and be seen by aliens in their spaceships wearing that one.:p

Based on their kit selections over the years, the Aliens have been following VfL Wolfsburg way before this season...my favorite is still the puma cell jerseys from the inaugural season in the BL

so what you are saying is that Wolfsburg has a jump on the rest of Europe in having Alien support groups!:p

It has been reported that Wolfsburg and Bremen will play another "unofficial" Super Cup match in Wolfsburg a week from today

That makes the match date Monday, July 20th.

Bayern and Dortmund played one before last season with Deutsche Telekom sponsorship.

However, Deutsche Telekom isn't sponsoring this one, Volkswagen is.

The match will be on German TV channel ZDF at 8:30 PM CET that night.

Yeah, but no confirmation from either club.

What role would Martins play with you guys?

I've never known Veh to be a 4-3-3 guy, but would you really pay 10M for a third striker?

Or could this mean Wolfsburg is going to break down and sell Dzeko to Milan after all??

I`m no Wolfsburg fan but this is what their coach says

"The player is on our short-list," Veh told Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung.

"We have Edin Dzeko and Grafite, two rather tall front men playing centre-forward.

"That is why we are looking for a striker that could play a bit more on or from the wing."

Yes, this is what I told others.

If Martins gets any real playing time, it would be out on the wing.

He can do that, but I think he is also cover in the event one of the starters gets injured, suspended, needs a rest, etc.......

Not sure how happy he will be out on the wing if he`s played there often.

He is a decent player. He is lightning fast, has a mega powerful shot with both feet. He does provide some amazing goals .On the downside he is also very frustrating as he has poor technical ability, he is lazy, greedy and inconsistent most of all.

btw, 10.5m euros according to this

My Martins frame of reference is based almost soley on this game, which I happened to catch live (the last five minutes) when I flipping through the channels one day.

You said exactly what I think of him. I was going to keep quiet so as to not ruffle any feathers here! :D
