so as long as bayern doesn't win their last game by a margin of 7 goals, then VfL really only need a tie in the last game, no?
maybe BigSoccer will start carrying VfL merch now?
worldsocccershop and soccer.com both need to pick up their game when it comes to the amount of Bundesliga team merch they sell.

Congrats. Deserved champion with a very good young team.
I hope Dzeko, Grafite and Misimovic will stay for another season to prove in the CL.

They aren't champs yet are they?
What are all the possible scenarios? I take it a win (obviously) or a draw would suffice, correct?

Yes. They are champions when they win, or when they draw. They have the way better goal difference than the others...

All good things come to an end!
But I don't expect a Bremen side still drunk from their UEFA Cup title to pose much of a threat... remember 5 years ago when they won the title with 2 games to spare, players came on the next weekend and, after having been tremendous all season, all the wasted players proceeded to lose 6-2 at home to Bayer Leverkusen. We beat Bayern that same weekend, but indirectly we wound up losing the Champions League spot because of the Bremen players' indifference. I was furious back then. Now I don't expect Bremen to go to Wolfsburg and win, but I do hope that each of the players will give it 100%, because the manner in which they perform will DEFINITELY have a big impact on the title.

I think you mean to ask if anyone has ever won all of their home matches in a season don't you?
Because even this season, Borussia Dortmund went undefeated at home too. :D

Even if Bremen LOSES the UEFA Cup Final (which certainly CAN happen), I don't think they are going to give 100% in Wolfsburg because they would have the German Cup Final against Leverkusen the next weekend and that could be their last chance to get into Europe for next season.......

And even then you still have to beat Bayern at Allianz.

I wouldn't discount Shakhtar in the final. They don't have the flair you would expect from a team that has 4 Brazilians in the starting lineup, but they find ways to win.

Please refrain from congratulating until the championship is actually won. It's only one game, but there is still a game to play. And Diego scares me.
I hope Dzeko, Grafite, Misimovic, and Gentner all stick around for the Champions League. But lets be realistic here, VfL are a small club, and keeping this kind of a strike force nowadays is nearly impossible unless you're Bayern.

I think they'll be saving Diego for the German Cup Final.......

VW will keep them around. But I think they need to hire a higher profile coach than Armin Veh.

Yup.
16 matches played, 15 wins, 1 draw.
They did lose twice at home this year.
Once in the UEFA Cup to PSG.
The other was to Bremen in the Pokal. Hopefully that result isn't repeated here.
If I can find a flight under $500, see you suckers in Wolfsburg!!
