but he's not a striker.

He's failed in 3 or 4 trials in a row as well.

Eddie, as far as I know, he's played striker since he's been here in Deutschland.

Have I been misinformed?

he's been a right midfielder or even a right back for the Nats (awful by the way).

I am pretty sure he's supposed to be a midfielder.

Kamani Hill was a striker when he 1st went to Germany, but throughout his career he's been used on the right side of the field (be it RB, RM, RW, etc...). I would venture to say he's a wide striker (as his ideal position)?

Man. He should have given FCK a call, seeing that they need a striker after Jendrisek tore a thigh muscle against Bayern.

I'd rather play 4-5-1

"Kicker" has it too, but says the deal hasn't been confirmed.

I still think there is a chance of them winning. In fact, I see Wolfsburg having a greater chance of going through than Milan.

I'm guessing you mean than Bremen??

Both are out. :-)

Wolfsburg should have been 3:0 in front before they conceded the 0:1 (pk goal after a silly foul) ... but well, if you don't take your chances, you often get punished. After the interval, the Wölfe continued wasting best scoring opportunities, whereas Paris taught them a lesson in efficiency.

Wow, what a comeback from Grafite after his injury! 2:0 half-time lead in Hamburg ... and he scored both goals.

Impressive 3:1 away win in Hamburg and just 2 points away from spot 3 now (ahead of Bayern).

As I wrote a while ago, I really rate him, and could see him winning the Torkanone even. His goal per game / minutes played ratio is unbelievable, a highly underrated striker.

With Grafite and Dzeko, Wolfsburg have the most dangerous, highest scoring strikeforce in the Bundesliga these days. And with Misimovic, the top assister of the league right behind them (although he didn't play today). When they click, they can be a very dangerous team, but just like Leverkusen, they have not been consistent this season, although so far, they have been the best team of the Rückrunde at least.

He is a huge talent. He should stay in Wolfsburg and continue to impove through match practice, that's most important for his development now. And Wolfsburg don't need the money, so they won't sell unless the player wants to leave himself.

Wolfsburg have a lot of talented players. If they can keep their team together, become more consistent, more of a unit, they could become real challengers in the league, and much more of a threat in Europe, too. The club is on the right path.

Wasn't he a garbage bag salesman in Brazil?

Talk about defying all the odds.

I've become a big fan of him and Dzeko this season.

He probably had the game of his life against them in the 2-2 draw in the UEFA Cup this season, no wonder they've been linked with him

But as hacke said, he should stay on his ass in Wolfsburg and develop properly. Hope he is smart enough to realize that if offers come at the end of the season.

Call me crazy, but I firmly believe Dzeko is the best striker in the Bundesliga.
Yes, ahead of Gomez, Klose, Toni, Grafite, Helmes, Ibisevic, etc.

he is an absolutely PERFECT striker now and does not have a ceiling. He very well could end up being one of the best in the entire world, he already is pretty close.

here's a little video that bundesliga.de did about him.
