Wolfie has a nice English website.
Congrats Wolfsburg.
I actually met the team at an Autobahn stop near Dortmund yesterday.
I was on my way back from Cologne to Hannover and when we arrived at the stop we of course noticed the Wolfsburg team bus and also a bus full of Wolfsburg fans and they were all shouting and celebrating the players that were coming out of the bus to go the the Burger King.
Was pretty crazy. :D

Congrats on reaching the UEFA-Cup for the 1st time!
Good job from Magath. But let's be honest - he get's every wish satisfied by VW ... therefore I rate his former performance in Stuttgart a lot higher!

Me too, but i'd say both were excellent accomplishments. And In Bayern he got two doubles in two seasons, and had he not been fired, I don't think he would've done any worse than Hitzfeld.
Magath can rightfully be considered one of the best managers in Germany in my opinion, especially when he's given time to form a team like he believes is best. Wolfsburg gave him the liberties to do whatever he wanted, and he paid them back much more than they would'be hoped for.

Kudos to Magath. He takes over in Wolfsburg buys over 10 new players and get rids of over 10 and starts building an entire new team this season and they end up on a excellent 5th place in the league.
Moreover he's made superb transfers like Josue and Bengalio being the most important for now. Wolfsburg paid just under 3 million euros for both players.
Schäfer, Dzeko, Dejagah and Simunek all look to have a bright future ahead.
VW and their millions are actually headed somewhere now with Magath as boss. Who would have thought that at season start..

I don't think so.
The young talents will only get better and the team will be more of a unit now where they have had an entire season to play together and learn each other better.
Plus new signings like Zaccardo and perhaps Misimovic will give them even more quality and reinforce the team. Magath is an old experienced fox who'll make sure to kick them in the arse if they start relaxing :D

Never ran into me then!
Europa wir sind da!
Considering some of the past performances of German teams in Europe recently (and I don't mean Bayer & Bayern vs Zenit), I can't see how VfL could do much worse.
They made it 3 rounds last time losing to Athletico Madrid. I think that was respectable for the side.

Aaah...You all emigrated to America, that explains it :p
As for WoB I think European experience, bought or lack of will decide their Uefa-campaign next year.

Maybe another quality midfielder + a good 3 rd striker and you have a pretty solid team.

As an Italian football fan I just wanna say congrats to you guys on picking up two talented young defenders like Zaccardo and Barzagli. Barzagli is a world class center back who will be the eventual starter on our national team (might even be our starter at Euro for that matter), and a great center back for years to come.
I wasn't exactly very fond of Zaccardo a couple of years ago, but he has greatly improved his game since then, especially defensively. He is also capable of making some great runs and has good crossing ability.
The fact that no Italian clubs jumped on acquiring these two world cup champions (Barzagli in particular), just like they didn't jump on acquiring Luca Toni, truly is foolish in my opinion.
Good luck to you guys next season! ;)

They've signed Nürnberg's Misimovic for 4 million.
Apparently they want another Italian, Fabio Quagliarella.

Volkswagen still has twice the revenue of Gazprom so it's nothing less than the Uefa Cup we expect.

You have signed South Korean Seol Ki Hyeon from Fulham.
He played for my club a year ago, very good going forward, non existant going back.

lol!!!
Seol at Wolfsburg w/ Hasebe, you guys are trying to get me to come support you? :D
No really though, Seol is...erm...very off and on. Usually off. Expect his first fewgames to be very good though giving you the impression that he actually is a good player, when in reality...

Seol's been a my favorite Korean player since he played U20 World Cup back in 1999. He has size, good touch, and experience. He is a hard-working type of player which coaches would have loved to have on their team. But his problem is that he has serious ups-and-downs. You Wolfsburg faithfuls may have to pray for him everytime.
