Everyone obviously saw the wristbands being sported by the French players against Switzerland a couple of weeks ago:

Anyway I know they probably won't go on commercial sale, but if anyone does happen to know the whereabouts of one, or sees one on sale on eBay or something, please, PLEASE let me know. This means a lot to me. Cheers.

The french team have been wearing those since the start of the WC. I don't think they are for Cisse though? You could always try the Adidas concept store to see if they stock them?

I think they are for Cisse. I remember a camera zooming in on one and it said "Cisse +10" on it.

I know they have the adidas +10 logo on them on the inside so maybe that was it?

Yup they say "Cisse +10" and in one game not only did the camera zoom but the commentators made reference to them as they were on screen. Technically, these shouldn't be allowed under FIFA rules which is very persnickety about what and where can be worn and have sponsors logo's on, but then ALOT of things worn are technically against FIFA rules....

Why would they all be supporting him?

He'd be hurting them if he was playing...

apparently it had affected the team quite a bit. i heard one of the players say that he had nightmares about it he could still hear cisse's screams. it's got to be really hard to see your teammate and friend's career possibly end like that in a such a painful way

If anybody didn't see what actually happened, here is a video of it. Included is the break with France, and the other with Liverpool.

Warning: Graphic

I have actual nightmares about that happening to me!...imagine not being able to play for that long, i play football EVERY DAY and to have that taken away from me for such a long period of time would be devastating!!! Id have to make myself a noose and find a very high ceiling!!!

I think most of us play football everyday on here. And it is hard to come back from a break. I know when i broke my leg and my foot i was itching to get back. One of the things you worry about the most is will you be as good as you were before the injury but you soon get back into things.

i must agree the only bone i have ever broken is my collar bone and im terrified about ever doign that again.
it was terrible doing it, it was in the cup final and in all honesty it was my fault. but cisse is so unfortunate i mean it has happened twice to different legs and theyve both been horiffic.
a team mate of mine broke his leg in a game i was playing in. i heard it crack and for the next few games i wouldnt challenge as hard it does affect you.

Mebe it's all the tattoo's on his legs that have weaken the bones....
Still a real shame for a flamboyant and entertaining athlete, who unfortunately is a poor footballer considering his rep.
