Soccer to me seems like a tough sport to photograph. So many variables come into play in order to get great shots. Positioning, lens etc. Asthetically soccer is a great game but not for photographs. Sports like Football and Baseball which are slower give you the opportunity to create more asthetically pleasing images. Im a professional photographer (not sports)...maybe one day I should challenge myself and see what I can do at a soccer game.

I give these guys TONS of credit, I have never done professional photography, but did take alot of sports pictures for the college yearbook. It's a tough skill. If you are watching through the camera and you see something good, to late, you already missed it!!

Thanks for posting and sharing these shots Wade - much appreciated.
I only came upon this forum today as I was searching for the location of photographers at a soccer game - whether accredited or not.
That's a question - should I start a new thread?
