This might be a little "grassy knoll" here but, do you think Argentina intended to tire Mexico out? I've seen Mexico play and they are fast (I told you so!) and they seem to be in much better shape than our team, but in the end it's not the running that counts, it's the juego. You could tell Mexico was overexerted in the end.

They gave their all- Argentina didn't (it looked like). Arg played a tactical game while it seemed Mexico played a more physical one. I just don't think a game is won with speed and agility if your opponent is more skilled on the ball. One Argentina player possesed the ball, three Mexico players surrounded him. It was rarely one on one.

What do you guys think?
I just felt when watching the game that Argentina seemed to not be trying but something in me is saying that the players knew, "We are never going to outrrun these guys- why bother? We'll play the game our way- slow, and we'll win." Risky, but it seemed to work this time.
