It's the Quarter-Finals of the UEFA Cup & promises to be quite a tie. I think it's safe to say that all Police holiday/leave will be cancelled in Glasgow & Liverpool on the respective dates!

Strange comment about the police!! I don't know what you've heard, but there is no rivalry or hatred between Celtic & Liverpool. The last time the two sides played in a European cup tie it was a draw in both games, Liverpool going through on the away goal rule. There was no love lost between the two teams and a lot of mutual respect. Travelling Celtic fans have rarely been cited with causing trouble. The whole thing about Celta Vego last year was blown out of proportion by the media. There was no actual trouble, and reason the plane was forced to land on the way home from Portugal was because it's very difficult to tell a drunk Glaswegian celebrating a good result, that he can't smoke in the aircrafts toilets. Celtic park is a very intimidating place for visiting fans, but only because of the size and the noise of the home crowd. I actually imagine there will be less police on duty than there was at the Old Firm game last weekend.
