See, i never got that. Not that home-field is not an "advantage" but chivas has the "gol de visitante" opportunity, that's why it was soooo key that velez not score. Now chivas advances with a win or a tie with goals...

Well considering this is a South American Tournament. I am sure that is nothing more than spin.

I missed this game but I know Chivas was playing every 3 days during this period. Under the intense physical scrutiny they were already exerting. I can't say if Chivas failed to score or Velez succeeded in bunkering.
My take is Velez played extremely defensively against our young guys.

i know chivas can beat velez in argentina because they have shown they can play well against south american teams in south america. I'm just worred whether or not the non-seleccion players will be in shape to play that game. of course, velez hasn't played in a while either so chivas need to hurry up and start training again

The players are already in preseason....they've played 3 games against first and second division teams...I'm just worried that we might not have Oswaldo and Salcido for the rest of the Libertadores..

Also, Velez has los a few key players to some Mexican clubs so they'll be a weaker team. We might be weaker too if those rumors of offers from Europe were true.
