Robinson (3) - now we know why we struggle from set pieces .Its robinsons indecisive play .His distribution was garbage too.

Hargreaves (6) - not a bad effort .although he gave away too many fouls.

A.Cole (7) - great shot block on tenorio after terrys awful f'ck up.

Terry (4) - seemed like he was asleep most of the time

Ferdinand (6) - reasonable display.


beckham (6) - good goal but otherwise totally ineffective.


Lampard (1) - hahahah you gotta be kidding me.

gerrard (2) - bad ,very bad.


Carrick (7) - nice passing in the 2nd half .


J.Cole (4) - sh1te

rooney (7) - nice effort in a thankless task of being alone up front with bad service.

Robinson - 4 - Unfortunately the alternative is David James. Seems to have no confidence in himself or his defence.

Hargreaves - 6 - Seemed uncomfortable early on, but grew as the match progressed.

A Cole - 8 - Excellent game, starting to look like the player he is.

Terry - 5 - A few key moments salvaged something for him from the game.

Ferdinand - 6 - Solid but wasnt't really stretched.

Beckham - 6 - I thought in general he had a reasonable game, but except for the goal his free kicks and corners were diabolical.

Carrick - 6 - Seemed almost anonymous at times, but did show some nice touches.

Lampard - 4 - No excuses this time he was just terrible.

Gerrard - 5 - Better than Lampard, but not by much.

J Cole - 5 - Looked out of sorts with the formation.

Rooney - 7 - Never stopped. We can only wonder what is impact would have been if he had had some playing time with another striker.

Carragher - 5 - He is not an international quality right back. Can't fault his effort but he just looks like a sqaure peg in a round hole.

Lennon & Downing - Not on long enough, but Lennon did provide some threat.

Robinson - 6. Bad ball distribution, but no major errors.

Hargreaves - 6. This guy so far has played well when given a chance. Couple of bad fouls, but good effort overall

A.Cole - 7. MOM for me. Saved us from goal, and Ecuador had no chance on their right. Won pretty much every single challenge.

Terry - 5. Bad error almost led to a goal

Ferdinand - 7. Easily delt with all the crosses and blocked a few shots

Beckham - 7. Bad first half, but again won the game for us, and he deserves respect for staying on the field and giving his all, despite not feeling well.

Lampard - 5. Bad WC for him so far. If he was on form, he would've scored 4-5 goals by now and had several assists.

Gerrard - 6. Not enough going forward, several bad passes, did not provide support for rooney, but got back well.

Carrick - 6. 1 error in front of our area when he allowed a shot, but overall good play, nice distribution. I'd like to see him start with Gerrard with Lampard being on the bench in the next game.

J.Cole - 6. I think he got the foul that led to the goal. Started brightly, but slowed down and was largely invisible for most of he game.

Rooney - 7. Tried his hardest for 90 minutes. He shouldn't play as a sole striker, but even then, he played very well, and if he had any support, would've probably scored.

Carragher - 6. No errors.

Robinson - 2. He's turning into the next David James

A Cole - 8. Decent game.

Terry - 1. Shocking. League-one standard errors.

Ferdinand - 6. A reasonable performance.

Hargreaves - 8. A good game to say he was playing out of position.

J Cole - 5. A poor game, careless mistakes, didn't create anything

Lampard - 0. Nothing but wasted shots.

Gerrard 4. Didn't contribute much, seemed to be sitting very deep for some reason.

Carrick 6. Did OK, passing was a bit wayward but solid enough.

Beckham 8. Man of the match. Worked his balls off and scored the winner. Actually playing like a captain for once. He didn't drift inside and actually dropped back into right-back when Hargreaves went forward.

Rooney - 8. Worked his balls off all match as well, despite having no-one to play with.

Gerrard far too deep in the first half, but did better in the 2nd half. Shame those chances fell to Lampard and not him.

Robinson - 5 - Looked dodgy at times but didn't have a lot to do

Hargreaves - 6 - Did well in a position he doesn't normally play in

Ferdinand - 6 - Not bad, better than Terry

Terry - 3 - Never felt comfortable with him at the back today, he game me a scare

Cole - 6 - did some good blocks and got forward quite well

Beckham - 6 - he gets a 6 for the goal, if he didn't score he would got about 4 or 5

Lampard - 2 - oh dear what's happened to him?

Gerrard - 4 - not great

J Cole - 4 - very quiet today

Carrick - 7 - did well considering it was his first competitive start in a R16 match at a world cup, passed the ball around nicely and kept possession well too

Rooney - 6 - not quite match fit and didn't play in quite natrual position but he gave it his all and showed some good skill and looked lively

I didn't get home til 3.30 so I watched it at home, but I've just come back from taking the dog out and the verdict down the pub was a very mixed bag.......sh!t, cack, sickening, garbage, poop, wankas, d!ckheads, diabolological, knobs, scumbags and cvnts.............

Robbo - 3 - cvnt - DJII
Hargroves - 5 - cack - OKish but very loose passer of the ball
Rio - 5 - knob - didn't see him much, so I can't mark him down
JT - 5 - d!ckhead - got better as the game went on
Cole A - 4 - garbage - fcukin hell he only got 4 for the tackle back
Posh - 5 - sickening - brutal, got 5 for the goal
Gerrard - 3 - poop - completely useless
Lampard - 3 - sh!t - ditto
Cole J - 3 - wanka - only got 3 for the nutmeg
Carrick - 5 - diabolical - not bad, bit loose, but better than the rest of the midfield
Looney - 6 (MOM) - scumbag - will die trying and he tries me at times - got stronger as the game went on

In all honesty, we didn't ever look like losing it and I think we seemed to gain momentum as the game wore on - they found bursts of energy in seering temperatures - as Ecuador faded, he should have brought fresh, fast legs on, to run them ragged, he left the Lennon change too late and should have given Walcott or Jenas 10 minutes.

We are sick to death of seeing the same old failings, it's time to try something completely different....:)

Still, that's us finished, we will not get past Portugal or the Neverlands with this shower of sh!te........:rolleyes:

the ref gave ecuador countless set piece chances after the ecuadorian tossed themselves down to the floor.
You just werent good enough to score from any of them.
