Hey,
I'm arriving in London on the 25th. What better way to acclimate myself than to immerse myself with England fans watching the Ecuador game. I'm staying up north (Arnos Court). Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Nancy

The Xtratime Bar in Barbican if it's cold and rainy. If it's nice weather, then steer clear of there, because it's a sweat pit. Perhaps the Oakdale up near St Anne's Hospital between Tottenham and Harringay.
EDIT: Stamford Hill tube for the Oakdale Arms.

Thanks. I'll probably be ready to fall asleep by then, but I really would like to catch the game with a crowd.

The streets will be empty; just go into any pub away from the main drags.
