Originally I had planned to stay in Europe until July 16, which included swings through Copenhagen, Paris, Rome, and Dublin. But now I am planning on heading home this weekend. I had a great trip, seeing a close friend in Brussels made the trip for me, but it feels the wind was taken out of the sails with the the teams poor performance.
Am I the only one heading home early?

Dude, it's just a soccer game.
Enjoy your time in Europe and stay until July.

I was originally staying through July 3, but with the US out I am now looking into selling my r16 and quarterfinal tickets and coming home early. I may still try to sneak in Copenhagen or Istanbul, but I really feel like I've seen and done enough for this trip and with no more US I'm ready to watch the last few games at home on my television.

I had originally planned through the 28th, but was able to find an earlier flight and got back into the States yesterday. Mainly because I'd promised my daughter I'd try to get back early if we didn't advance, and also since it's a bit pricey even going as cheap as possible, and money I could best use elsewhere. With unlimited funds I'd have brought my family and stayed the full time no problems.

I thought about it for a minute to save some money and everything, but screw it. The World Cup is a ball and Im not about to leave it while the main performers havent even made the stage yet.
