It's a bloody battle. Players on both sides are showing their grit in the early going. And I'm lovin' it.

well korea is still qualifying. a draw would be better for them...a high scoring one even better. like 2-2 or something. they probably couldve gotten a goal at the end.
swiss should be quite the force in 2008.

Another Swiss handball, another penalty robbed.
Actually two handballs i think, but the other one was ball-to-hand.

SO many good chances at the near end of the first half............. S.Korea had better score an equalizer quick.

didn't see that. what happened?
why is everyone at this world cup inspired by Rafael Marquez? I know he plays for Barcelona but defenders catching balls in the penalty area is NOT FOOTBALL.

A swiss defender caught a ball on his hand, in a SK corner.
This is the third time

this is getting irritating. that would make it 8/9 times this has happened at this year's world cup. its becoming an irritating trend.

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT.
That is truly the worst decision of the WC. So far. Wrongly overruling the AR.. oh dear.

does the fact that the korean kicked the ball have any bearing on the decision?

¿How can it be offside when the Korean 'passes' the ball to the Swiss attacker? A Swiss player would have needed to give the pass for it to be offside.

terrible decision by the ref. the linesman showed offside and the koreans stopped play. frei scored a goal. and the ref says the goal stays!!!!
(btw Frei was blatantly offside!)
BY FAR THE WORSE REFEREE DECISION OF THIS TOURNAMENT!!! Outdoes anything I've seen in this world cup.

un********ing believable. The cheatingest world cup in history. France might not advance if these teams tie? is this correct? Just asking...not implying that the game REALLY LOOKS TO BE FIXED.
