Togo are up, 14-0. Trezeguet, Henry, Zidane, and Cantona have all been red carded.

In seriousness, France have had several shots on goal already. They look absolutely fantastic--completely different from the team that played the prior two matches and from the 2002 donkeys.

Good chance by France.....
Re: The France//Togo PRE Match thread....
Yes, one of the Togo defenders, too the most obvious dive I've seen this World Cup...I didn't catch who it was though..but he was covering Sylvestre

I hope France scores and wins soundly. They have been having a terrible last 4 years...
Trezeguet again... but no power on the shot.
p.s. Anyone know where that Kader guy plays? He is actually extremely good.

this is a typical france game. they seem to dominate and just cant finish. i dont think togo have looked horribly, but france probably deserve a goal.
at least the swiss result is good for the french. the french just have to find a way to score. domenech has waited too long to start henry and trez.

ribery shoots and definitely does not score :) France will never score :D
what is wrong with them? bad eyesight?

togo is picking it up. dont think this is very good for france. they're younger and have more endurance. we'll see.

Makalele gets a yellow and, in an unusual circumstance for this World Cup, he actually deserved the yellow.

France certainly has had good chances for goals, but so have Togo (albeit not as many).

Kader plays for Guingamp now...

Ribery is the biggest choker in the tournament. First against Switzerland, and now today, he's been one on one with the keeper and passed it instead, fluffing the chance. Then when he DOES have a shot on goal he managed to miss when it was easier to score.
