Snoop Dogg made a brand new music video for the song "Beautiful" which was filmed in Rio. They shows some clips of Rio, some samba towards the end, and then there's a message that says "Obrigado Brasil." Snoop also wore a white Nike Brazil jersey, with #9 on the back plus "Snoop."
Really nice video, and I thought it was cool seeing him wear the Brazilian jersey (Anyone else think this may be the new fashion? :D)

yep the video was really kool, i`ve seen some other videos with a few people in thier putting on soccer jerseys- the khia " my neck my back" video had some guy putting on the brazilian 1986 national team jersey.
106 and park Aj also at times is seen putting on a brazilian toft made national team jersey.
it`s kool though but they shouldn`t only put on brazilian jerseys, may be it`s because the samba boys are the most successful soccer nation.

There was another rapper that went to Brazil to shoot a video about a year or so ago. I forgot his name or who he was. One of the raspy voiced ones. He too did it in Rio De Janeiro. I guess Snoop and the rappers are tired of the South Central ghetto hoochies. ;)

Amrie did this one music video, and it shows a bunch of guys playing football, and one of them is wearing a '98 jersey...yeah, soccer jersey in a football game. :D

this could be a big PR opportunity for MLS, to get rappers to wear MLS jerseys and get noticed by the "hip crowd" and more pop culture attention.

Better yet: Nelly in a Valderrama Mutiny "throwback" jersey...

nothing new, 50 cent wears a adidas crown paints #10 John Barnes, Noreaga of CNN wore a throwback flamengo with zico on the back when i saw him perform, Royce the 5'9'' had on a longsleeve Fila Navy Westham shirt with dicanio name when i saw him with eminem 2 years ago. Just downloaded the video on kazza, took 3 minutes on cable...nice video! Looks like he enjoyed himself there..not surprising, I did.

The name of the song is Beautiful.
It's in third place on the Direct Effect show on MTV.

it would definately cool to see soccer jerseys as the new rage. but remember NASCAR jackets are pretty popular in urban fashion, doesn't mean you see a lot of people from the inner city flocking to races.

I've never heard of Nascar jackets being the urban fashion... I do know that throwback jerseys are all the rage these days though. Just look at LeBron for example.
I wouldn't mind seeing more hip-hop artists wearing USMNT jerseys too, but that's a little much to ask at this point.
Beautiful is a great song though...

I managed to download the song today.Great scenery of Brazil,beautiful women and they played futbol in it which was cool.I loved everything about the video except the actual song.Don't get me wrong ,I love The Snoop',but let's be real here,the Dogg is at his finest when he's working with Dr.Dre.Next to Mos Def and Talib Kweli,they may be the finest rap duo out there.
