I'm waiting to be told how that was a legitimate penalty, but tripping Reyna up wasn't a foul. If the one is incidental contact, so is the other. Consistency? Consistently screwed up. Bogus yellows, blown calls. Ridiculous referreeing.

THat penalty was pure BS. The US comes back from the FIRST goal that shouldn't have counted, and Merck makes up a penalty to give Ghana the lead again!

I guess Fair Play is only important to FIFA when the US is not playing.

If your team was good enough you wouldn't get 1 point from your first 2 matches and then struggle to beat Ghana. Bad call yes, but your team just isn't good enough.

The penalties given in this WC is ridiculous, including the one Ghana just got. The 2 that Spain got. I bet Germany will get some too.
