Obviously there are a lot of great derbies worldwide.I suppose that every fan considers as greatest derby, the one that his favorite team plays against its arch rival. But for me the greatest derby in football's history is Scotland's ''old firm''(maybe sharing the first place with Argentina's ''el classico'').My most important criterion is the rivalry between the fans. So,which is the world's greatest football derby in your opinion?

It's definately the Superclasico of Argentina. Boca and River have been rivals for over 100 years, each dominating certain aspects of Argentine footie (River record league champions and Boca best representatives of Argentina abroad). The rivalry between the fans is tremendous, to the point that during the match, AFA has stipulated that all fans must be seated, which really takes away from the atmosphere.

And now, even the club's boards are duking it out, with Macri trying his best to screw over the River fans by taking away seats from them in the Superclasico, and the River board... well, they're probably bosteros since they're trying to screw River over too.

This thread has been made a million different times, and if anyone says anything other than the Old Firm or the Superclasico then they should be shot.
