Conditional tickets

Did anyone (Rooneys Toe?) get any for the Sweden-England game? I didn't. I'm still in the waiting list! Can't believe I was the only one shat on by the OC with their bull about the chances of getting these tickets. Watched the game outside a bar in Cologne and it looked like there was a block of empty seats in the stadium.

Sam, Mrs RooneysToe here, my other half is in germany watching Czech/Italy today.
If you'd looked back at the original thread you'd see I've already posted there.

No, he didn't get the tickets, nor did Maldini who was waiting from the first con phase (as his only order) - this means according to FIFA's prority rules that no-one at all must have got them from the 2nd con phase.
He went to the large fanfest a little way out of town and had quite a good time, although he said it was a long very hot day.
When he gets back I want him to read this

which basically says that the atmosphere outside the stadium was better than in it. Hope it makes him, and you, feel a bit better about the disgrace that was the England 2nd phase conditional programme.

Hello Mrs RT , I Presume you mean the one with the camp site next to it. My Mrs won't stand among noisy drunks for 2 hours or more (!) so we took a more relaxed option. We went on a Rhine boat trip that afternoon and there were many thousands at that fanfest. I can't believe it was better than being in the stadium, only thing that makes me feel better is getting my 220 euros back!

well we made our first application for tickets back in feb 2005, and then also did the first conditional programme. had just about given up hope but have just been allocated 4 tix for England V Ecuador on Sunday in Stuttgart - and they are cat 2 so they are giving us 190 euros back, to say i am happy is a bit of an understatement

Congrats Aldosboots, yes the cond. ticket programme worked for a few lucky people but I note yours yours was from the 1st phase, and not a predetermined England game.

I am fairly sure not a soul got tix from the 2nd phase for an England group game.

I've whinged so much about this because our credit card bill was £300 for the 4 tickets, we paid it off so as not to pay the interest, and it made a big hole in the monthly budget. It wasn't tickets for friends either, it was for the junior RTs, so the whole lot was down to us to find.

On the whole though our ticket buying experience has been better than our wildest dreams, and that was due to Sleeper, whose browser fixed us up with everything we wanted apart from the England game.
P.S.Croatia are out, bad luck Sleeper, we 'adopted' Croatia for this tournament.

Well I'm down to the last hope re:conditional tickets.... France+Brasil in Frankfurt on Sat. night. At this point, it will be a hassle to go up there from where we are in Stuttgart to get them...kinda hoping we don't and just get the money back in a month. Applied for 4 matches in the 2nd cond. program...seems a scam to me from reading here for FIFA to make even more money.

there were tickets made available, but they all went to members of the England Travel Club by the sounds of it. Those 500 or so tickets that magically appeared a couple of days before the games are almost certainly the sponsor returns that ought to have gone to conditional ticket holders.

Disappointing, as I was in the list for the T&T match, but at least they went to genuine fans.

Wow, I got a nice surprise tonight....

I've just got allocated 2 tickets to the Germany-Italy game.

It was the only one i put a conditional order in for as well. Now I've got to book a ferry over. It's about 350 miles each way driving, and I'm driving to Cardiff and back (from london) the day before since I have tickets to go see CATS.

I'm going to put 1000 miles on my car in just over a day.

I'm still pleased as punch.

Has anyone received a refund yet from the second conditional phase? I have just checked the customer self service and it states that my appliction has been cancelled and at the bottom it says amount refunded but my mastercard has not been credited. Thanks

nothing here yet. the fifaworldcup.com customer self service site shows the order as "canceled" and the amount refunded but nothing to my mastercard yet.

FIFA owe me a total of 1060 euros to my Mastercard - 420 from conditional tickets, and 640 from two resold orders. Customer Services shows all this as having been refunded, but today I checked the Mastercard account and none of it has been refunded to my card yet.
Do I need to get worried about this yet or is the same sort of thing happening to everyone else who is owed money?
