Go Ghana!

Ghana just too good for the Americans. USA tried hard but just aren't up to scratch with most o the other teams in the tournament, as well as having a peanut as coach. Interesting times ahead.

Thanks TARD. Screw off.

Bruce Arena,

Thank you for coaching our US National Team during our World Cup campaign.

Unfortunately, you have failed to meet our expectations of the team advancing to the second round of the World Cup in Germany this year, and so we are terminating your contract effective today. We are currently searching for a replacement. Good luck finding a new job.

Remorselessly yours,

The Hachiko

Unfortunately, we'll probably never get the chance to return the favor to Ghana...

Wynalda just called out the Bruce.

Said he "screwed up."

It's about time ESPN stop fellating his fat ass.

i'm sorry US fans.

the ref definitely made this game ugly. ghana wasn't inspired.

surprisingly Ghana were very effective with their chances (vide the previous two games).

its actually a shame the ref did his bad calls including the penalty and the Essien yellow. i would prefer it if ghana won with style like in the czech match.

but i won't lie: I'm glad ghana won.

Congrats to Ghana - that's quite a team. US? Lots of heart but two shots on target in three games? Not going to progress like that.

So the no 2 and 5 ranked teams are out - says all we need to know about FIFA's rankings.

Good job Ghana on advancing to play Brasil!

Time to root for England!

Oh .. and Bruce has to go. What a pathetic strategy for this match. Pathetic strategy and pathetic execution all around.

Landon Donovan, Claudio Reyna, and Demarcus Beasesly are pieces of crap.
Bruce ARENA needs to go.

Time for a new look for the US team. The Bruce should take that job in Europe. Claudia, OB, Keller, Pope and Mcbride should retire from international games. Landon should beg for a shot at League 1 football in England.

Horrible strategy from Arena, heartless play from the starters.

This one stings.

Eric Wynalda:

Bruce Arena ruined the US World Cup chances with too much empasis on defense and the 4-5-1 formation.
