he may have scored one goal and made another, but he was holding england back with his show pony attitude all the time.
England need more selfless toilers like crouch. did you see some of the runs he made?

Indeed. Less wonder goals, less crosses in the final third, and less beating people. If it's not a diagnal 60 yard ball going somewhere in the vacinity of Peter
Crouch's head it's just not England.

Joe Cole is just a show off who thinks he's great by doing all these step over's and all these skills but the matter of the fact is that he's rubbish. Get Trevor Sinclair back on the England left wing.

That long goal he scored today was the biggest fluke imho. It was a good strike but had it been for Peter Cech at goal instead of Iskaason (sp?) then it would've been easily saved with a jump.

Joe Cole plays wing doesn't he? They should replace him with Aaron Lennon. The previous game against T&T where he came on to replace someone, he made an instant impact. He started playing effictively, wasn't trying to do tricks and such and had his passes spot on. He totally powered up England's attacking strength in that game.

Yeah, all those crazy cross overs that he does.... His goal was such luck.

Agreed, who the fcuk want's to imitate Denilson.

Nah, he's not that good.
Show pony, one trick wonder.
I mean, all he does is lash it in to the box from long range hoping somebody will get on the end of it....or, failing that, will belt it hard towards the goal, hoping it goes in.
