I would feel sorry for him if he was just an average regular guy but he is a footballer who makes a lot of money and can get any woman he wants so that definately lessens the pain of his disfigurement.

It's not really that bad. Besides it does make him look like a badass.

Actually, knowing the player and his tendancy to get angry like he did in a dancing club at Boulogne sur Mer, he may have get this in a fight, but this is a rumour. When he was in Metz he made a few friends like this...
Kind of bad guy style, he talks like lower classes in the "banlieue".

the accident came when he was 2.
he did get the girl he wanted; his childhood sweetheart, and converted to islam for her.
pretty sweet all in all.

Easy, some us like Le Nord/Pas de Calais;)actually i do too! not only is lille one of the most charming cities i've visited, i find a certain charm in valenciennes. i've never visited lens however, what's it really like?

You're missing out, it's the most beautiful city in the region! ;)
Seriously, it's OK, obviously it has a bit more charm for me than it might for the outsider. For me it's a mix of big city and small town in one, paritcularly during the day. At night if you're really looking for a good time you're probably heading to Lille or Arras.

Seriously, it's OK, obviously it has a bit more charm for me than it might for the outsider. For me it's a mix of big city and small town in one, paritcularly during the day. At night if you're really looking for a good time you're probably heading to Lille or Arras.arras! the first town i visited in france on my first trip to europe and mighty charming!
