Of course it is.
There are many one footed players in the Premiership, but of course it helps to be comfortable on both feet when passing or striking the ball.
It depends how good your good foot is.

im good w/ both feet, however, I can do much more advanced moves on my right foot, I can cross and shoot almost as well w/ my left as w/ my right.

Im Left Footed, But Im Good With My Right Foot As Well. I Also Play Left Wing, And Yes, You Really Do Need To Be Able To Kick With Your Left Foot If You're On The Left Wing. You Could Ask Someone On Your Team Thats Left Footed To Help You Out, But If You Keep Practicing With Your Left You Will Get Better. I Know This Because I Could Never Kick With My Right, And I Just Kept Practicing And Now Its As Good As My Left(better Than Some Right Footers Right!) At Training You Could Train By Just Using Your Left Foot, Even Get Your Whole Team To Have Some Trainings Without Using Their Dominant Foot, And I Guarantee It Will Work. It Took About 4 Weeks To Finally Get My Right As Good As My Left, But It Also Might Depend On Your Ability And Skills. Keep At It And You'll Get It!

im left handed, since i waas a kid i've was left footed also until i reached around 10, then i played goalie and started punting with my right foot and eventually became right footed. then i changed my position bakc to midfield when i was 15 and was right footed until now im like turning left footed again (im 16 now) and when i come to shoot i unintentionally set myself up for my left foot and its not bad at all either its just as good as my right foot but ya i dont know which foot to use and why i keep changing

One footed players suck. No offense, but in this day and age you have no excuse for being one footed. You may have great vision and speed, but when it comes to execution, you literally have HALF the options. It took me about a year to get my left foot up to par, but am I ever so happy that I did put in that work. How did I do it? I worked on it every training session. All excersizes I do with the ball involve BOTH of my feet. It's that simple.

Robben = a not even a fraction of some great two footed players (Best, Sheva, Ronaldinho). If youre suggesting that someone is better equipped then someoe who's two footed you need to check yo'self b4 u rek yo'self....

YOUR WEEK FOOT PROBABLY SUCKS AHAHAHAHAH..

No offence but you're talking bullshit.

I never said he was the best, I never said he was better equipped than two footed players, you claimed that all one footed players "suck", I gave an example of a very one footed player who could actually be considered a better player than a lot of two footed players.

We done?

when all is said, is it better to be equally proficient with both feet? Yes, but say there is a player who is just phenomonal with only one foot, that player can do anything with that one foot, they are going to get noticed much more than the player who is 100% consistent with both feet. In the end it all comes down to which you are, if you naturally do things well with both feet, fantastic, or if you can only use your right or left foot but pull off never before seen moves, then that is equally as good.

Yea But Your Gunna Be Noticed Even More If You Can Do Things With Both Feet. You Can Do Alot More With Both Feet, So Yea You Do Need Both. You Will Be Better If You Can Use Both

Exactly.
Being two footed is a good advantage as you are less predictable, but if your strong foot is pretty special then you don't neccesarilly need to be two footed.
A lot of pros have got by being extremely one footed.
