We played 3 at the back in 1990 and 1996.
our better games under hoddle and keegan were also when we had 3 at the back.
Id like to see us play 3-4-1-2

With a lot of teams playing with one up and one off there is no need for 3 centre-backs. Two centre-backs with a holding midfielder in front of them is much better.
