Off the top of my head, i'm guessing West Ham.

Portsmouth, great fans, tie in an old Arsenal legend and it makes sense.

and on another note, there will no longer be PPV in the US for EPL matches at least on an game-by-game basis.

Mourinho's attempt to make himself the center of attention smack in the middle of the World Cup:

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=371444&cc=5901

Mourinho said: 'I think in England you say, `I have looked into my crystal ball'. So this is what I saw.

'For sure our first game will be away from home.

'After international matches, Arsenal always play at home, Manchester United and Liverpool are 50-50, Chelsea always away.

'So, with an international match on the 16th and the first Premier League game on the 19th, Chelsea will be away.

'Players will arrive back from their national teams on the 17th in the afternoon and we travel on the 18th to play away on the 19th.'

My "crystal ball" prediction? Even if Jose's paranoid delusions end up being true, no one will have an ounce of sympathy for them. Ironclad prediction I say... take it to Ladbrokes. ;)

Assuming that means that there is a pay-per-package instead. Don't know yet.

But who will everyone blame for this scheduling now that David Dein no longer has his FA position?

Thats the annoying part of it. If the fixtures turn out poor for Moroniho, he claims he's been stitched up. If they don't, then it's down to Dein being kicked out.

Anyway, wasn't his nice little theory disproved by the previous seasons fixtures...

First game: Reading

Looks like I'll be making more Sunday trips to the Brewhouse for these PPV matches. $299 is a lot of friggin' money when we only care about the matches Arsenal are in.

Why isn't the a-la-carte PPV model effective enough? Ugh.

For $299, I'm nearly there on a ticket to London, where I can watch in person.

No, no, no. The last two doubles, that's who we played in our last home game. We want them to be the last home game, not the first. :)

Yeah, and I'm still not convinced that PMs are the best way to track everything. I'd really like to get to a system where we have the fixture list, a deadline date, ways to contact Rick, etc...

Stay tuned.
