Well, first of all some of you may or may not agree that these are all powerhouses, but nevertheless:
Which "powerhouse" matchups in the group stage are you most looking forward to?
Argentina / Netherlands
Mexico / Portugal
Italy / Czech Republic
Personally, I would have to go with Italy and Czech Republic. I know I'm biased, but I really think that game will be one of the best of this tournament.
Also, which teams do you think will come out victorious?

Argentina. I want to make sure their performance in the last match was not an optical illusion and that the are really a super power house to win the WC.

You have to include England/Sweden and Germany/Ecuador also.

Seconded. And because I'm partial, add Ghana-USA to the list.

Argentina v Netherlands should be great, and as a Dutch fan I'm looking forward to it the most. However, I think Czech vs Italy is going to be a better game, as both teams are playing to keep themselves in the competition. A win to Czech Republic and we could see Italy out of the competition. A win to Italy and the Czechs are going home. It's going to be a very interesting game.

Italy-Czech.
Portugal's already qualified, and Scolari will field a reserve team, so I can't see the game meaning much.
Argentina-Holland might be the second most interesting, but with nothing on the line it takes a clear backseat to Italy-Czech.

Agreed, the loser of this game will most probably go home. The other games have no pressure.
