Nobody up and about yet. It's a gorgeous day in London - almost too hot and sunny to watch the World Cup.

Iran playing somewhat cautiously for the first 10 minutes. Mirzapour will have to come up big for the Iranians to try and duplicate Angola's effort Friday against Mexico.

I'm not even kidding but Karimi hasn't even touched the ball yet. Portugal are playing very well.

im not sure what happened to karimi. he's had a very bad world cup, especially given all the hype ive heard about him.

Iran not doing very well with ball distribution whenever they do get it. Portugal have the run of play so far. Then again, they had the run of play against Angola and only managed one goal, which came very early on.

Nice free kick effort by Mahdavikia--good job by the keeper to punch it away. Iran seemed to have settled down in the past few minutes.

Pauletta wins a Portuguese corner--header just misses from Carvalho--very dangerous!

What the hell. The Iranian players don't even get touched and they fall to the floor. They just hit the post, but it was off a foul that didn't even exist. Disgusting.

Iran is feeling the pressure every 60 seconds that composes a minute. Yet there is an air of danger from Iran

Thank God the ball hit the post! I hate seeing goals called back on an offside rule--but it was a good call according to the replay--32nd minute, still 0-0. Iran playing much better than they did against Mexico in the second half. I think they are playing more conservatively this half than the first half vs. Mexico. They should have enough in the tank to press forward more later on, but by then, Portugal may be up.

is portugal trying to do their best france impression? they're missing all of these easy chances. the level of domination here is rediculous.

Figo just got hit in the face with the spikes of an Iranian player's shoes, this is disgusting, and not even a yellow.

Horrible non-call against Figo. What was the referee looking at? Man, that's gotta hurt!
