What you witnessed here today were the 11 that will win the World Cup.
Abbondanzieri
Burdisso, Ayala, Heinze, Sorin
Mascherano, Cambiasso
Riquelme
Messi, Crespo, Tevez
The last 15 minutes were just a sneak peek preview of things to come.

i think it's safe to say that argentina have played the best so far.
scoreline was a bit inflated since the serbian defense was made up of a bunch of ronaldos.
i mean, 6 goals on 8 shots on goals? that's amazing. 5 of the goals were pure class. definitely wonder which argentine team will show up against the dutch.
and i feel pretty sorry for the serbs. man. the game was painful to watch by halftime. they werent even trying it seemed. i actually think the scoreline wouldve been this inflated, even without the red card. they lost kezman, who wouldnt have been defending anyways. yikes.

Hats off to the Argies. That was the performance of the cup, and Cambiasso's goal (2nd) was one of the most beautiful team goals I have ever seen (and also, the best of this cup). With this, I think you lot are now the favorites. A lot of stuff can happen to derail your campaign, but you are certainly the team to beat.

A monologue. From beginning to end.
Can we give them the World Cup already? Jesus.
Argentina vs Brazil. That'll be the final game. Ecuador gets the 3rd spot. :D

Good game. A real challenge to all the teams to aspire to.
Yeah, look fitter and comfortable and really enjoyable to watch. Serbia just not challenging enough for them.
Hang loose guys.

Yeah. Argentina ruled in this game. I still don't think they played any better than with Ivory Coast (where Ivory Coast were the better team). But did you see how badly the Serbian defense worked??? Absolutely crap defending that in no way reminded the team that qualified to the World Cup.

Yeah right... They looked as lost as Poland looked last friday with Ecuador.

I haven't seen a player as silky smooth as Riquelme since Zidane circa 2000. How is Villareal going to turn down the $40 mil Euro offer for this guy?

I agree that Serbian defence and their GK were completely out of their match. Probably due to missing Vidic, a key player there.

this game was a precise example when a talented offense plays against a team that has completely quit....6-0.....
serbia has put on the worst performance of the tournament....at least the Ukrainans were running - not ball watching....
a perfect game for Messi to get settled....
