Simply put US players are not known for individual flair or incredible skills, very sound fundamentally and hustle to no end, besides permit problems Euros wont sign unless their is a perceived hype about a player. who on the US squad besides Landon created a sheetload of hype that is not already in Europe and younger than 27? Your answer is DMB but he was injured halfway through the Cup, which is probably the only fear of inking him to big contract fear of frequent injuries/lack of size.

It seems very unlikely that a K-League team would be willing to pay MLS more than McBride is worth in front of his domestic fan base. There's not much of a track record of paying up for foreign talent by the K-League, is there?
A McBride signing would be a little change of pace for K-League clubs. Actually, the K-League recently signed Gabriel Popescu of Romania and were talking to one of the former Brazilian international players who is currently playing in the J-League (I dunno the name) prior to the season. K-League clubs usually sign young international players instead of old stars like the J-League or the MLS. One guy, Denis Laktionov, was on the Russian national squad running up to the world cup, although he was eventually cut for "lack of experience," even though he was one of Russia's best performers in the chances he got.

How is Claudio in his prime and Pope aging when they are both the same age?
While Reyna has had some nagging injury, they are injuries to muscles. Pope, unfortunatly, has had his injuries to his ankles. Those are the kind that age you much more quickly. Ask any 30 year old who had ankle or kneww surgery and played such a phyisical sport as soccer or football. It hurts to move around.
