England has to beat Sweden.
Paraguy has to beat Sweden by a little bit.
We have to beat Paraguay by 5 goals..

If Paraguay beats Sweden today, then TnT beats Paraguay on June 20th, aren't they in?

For you to get through on goal difference, Sweden has to lose badly to England, and Trinidad has to win spectacularly against Paraguay, in order for you to go through on goal difference. Not happening.

England 1, Sweden 0
T&T 2, Paraguay 0
T&T 4pts, 2 GF, 2GA
Sweden 4 pts, 1 GF, 1GA
T&T Advances
Not likely, but it doesn't require a spectacular win.

The thing of it is, given England's two performances, it won't belong before they also pack their bags.

Paraguay got not to play for so you never know. Hopefully they will want to leave with a win for their country.

What happens if the both games end like these?
England 2, Sweden 0
T&T 1, Paraguay 0
T&T 4pts, 1 GF, 2GA
Sweden 4 pts, 1 GF, 2GA
i know that it's unlikely to happen, since Swedish sides have never lost to england for a long time.

What happens if Sweden and T&T tie with 4 points and no goal difference?

A similar situation occured in 1990 with Ireland and Netherlands tied on points, goal difference, and goals scored. Ireland went through on a coin flip.

I believe it comes down to a toss of a coin/drawing of lots

According to the regs, this determines team order:
1-pts
2-goal difference in all matches
3-greatest number of goals scored in all matches
4-head to head result
5-the drawing of lots

So true, they have to put on a show against Sweden for me to believe they have what it takes to beat a contender in this cup.

Sweden-Paraguay Draw
T&T beat Paraguay
England beat Sweden
4 points would take T&T through.
England is thru. Paraguay is heading home.
It is now down to Sweden and T&T.
Would be a great day.
Sweden has to beat England to be sure.
T&T have to beat Paraguay to have a chance.
Far stranger things have happened.
England have a LOT to prove and they may start with Rooney. This may be the difference since England look lost without him.
To those who don't know, T&T played their World Cup campaign on several MUST WIN performances. Expect to see Russle "The Little Magician' Latapy come on for this game. Latapy has fantastic dribbling skills and a great record against teams like Paraguay.
Mark my words. This group is still open. T&T can still advance and from what I have seen thus far the World Cup needs a team like T&T to make it to the next round to give it a huge boost!

Iīve posted this on the england-T&T post thread but wanted to post it here as well.
Well played T&T, I was hoping for you all though it wasnīt the best result for sweden, and I thought you would make the draw, but unfortunately not. Since we compete with you for the second spot in the next round i hope you donīt win against paraguay, but you definately has a new fan in me. Well played indeed.
I think itīs remarkable how T&T seem to have different game strategics for each opponent, and really has read us good. This is the way for a "weaker on paper" team to make it in the world cup. Outsmart the bigger teams by adapting your game after theirs, and disturbe theie play. Not the kind of gameplan that wins you titles, but itīs a good way to get further then anyone would expect. The hat off for you and your country, when Lagerbäck retires I want Beenhakker (is that spelled correctly?). See you in the next world cup, then i will definately cheer for you guys.
