If England beats sweden 2-0 and T&T beats Paraguay 2-0... Sweden still goes through, right? So T & T needs a lot of help if they're not done, am I correct?
Bad year for countries starting with the letter "P" so far.

AAAAAAHHHH, NOOOOOOOO
What can I say? I feel like crap right now :( :( :(
Paraguay played really well (actually both teams played well) and we created a lot of chances but we couldn't finish them.
I liked our attitude, unfortunately it wasn't enough to get us through :(

wooooo. we should get through, as long as we dont lose badly and TnT dont pull of an upset win

I am happy, but seriously I am worried because of two things:
1) Zlatan is injured
2) T&T can play out against a paraguay that is eliminated

paraguay wont want to go out with 3 losses, especially one coming from Trinidad. I think Sweden has got this.......hopefully.

It was clear who was the best team, Sweden tried everything since the game started, were the best team on the pitch and clearly deserved to win, Paraguay is one of those teams that donīt know how to attack, because they are a defensive team, wich i donīt understand because they have good attackers, in the end they only got what they deserved.
I think Sweden will qualify and wonīt lose against England even if they lose i am not seeing Paraguay losing against T&T.

I agree, I think Cuevas should have come on instead of Lopez. Oh man this sucks so bad... :( :(
I think Sweden doesn't need to worry about the TyT and Paraguay game, I can assure you tha Paraguay will go out there and play to win the game

Sweden would have 1 for, 2 against.
T&T would have 2 for, 2 against.
So no, T&T would advance, even if Sweden lose 1-0 (2-2 is better than 1-1, no?). Or am I missing something?

Deserved win, but really... prior to the WC I expected a great offence and a weak defence but reality shows it exactly different. In both games Sweden had tons of chances but the forwards were unable to score. Some bad luck that two one on one situation were wrongly called away, but considering their offensive performance it maybe was forward protection by the referee, who feared that they go around the keeper and suffer a torn ACL by tripping over their own feet
;)
But you never know, they werent bad in creating chances so far and maybe they untied the knot now once they were successful.

With Ruiz in charge it would be an upset if Paraguay won

No, thats what is needed for T&T to get through.
Sweden is through if Sweden or Paraguay at least another point or if both England and T&T wins with only one goal.
T&T is through if the T&T and England wins and their victory margins togeter is atleast 4 goals.
If T&T and England wins and they togheter wins and their victory margins togeter is 3 goals. It is down to counting wich team T&T or Sweden have scored most goals.

Hypothetical scenario: Germany vs. Equador match ends in a tie (i.e. Equador wins group A). What happens in the England vs. Sweden game? Sweden plays for a tie, England plays for a loss?

Germany are easily beatable. 2 schoolboy goals conceded against Costa Rica, injury time goal against 10 men Poland.
Ecuador have been the better team of the two even taking into account Germany's home advantage. Neither of them are any good.

I don't think that England's play has been convincing at all. I would not be surprised if they lost to Germany.

YEEEEEEEEES!
Finally a goal, maybe this will break the ice, definately deserved this win. Our defense has been remarkably good, and havenīt allowed a singe shot from inside the penalty box if Iīm not mistaken, might have forgotten one, but I donīt think so. Our attack though is bad, or at least the scoring part, man do we create chances we donīt know how to produce from. All in all though i feel that our game has been the most impressive in the group so far, even though we havenīt won easily, we have dominated both our games, and if the goalscoring starts working we will be leathal.
