A
great article... After reading this I recon Boruc is the one that may diserve much more respect then the entire Rest which is too stupid to admit that their were not mentaly prepared to the tournament. Also nice to find out he was observed by Arsene Wenger, can't wait to see him keeping for a better team than Celtic.
Well... although i believe what they were not mentally prepared i guess playing without a playmaker(we haven't had the real one since 1986) and good strikers is also very funny:)

Those were excellent pictures smithfan, thanks a lot.
My favourites are the one of Podolski in the polish jersey, and of the one where he consoles Boruc.
That man has a large amount of respect from me.

Great pics.
It showed Poldi carried a lot of mixed feelings into the match. Not an easy game for both Poldi and Klose emotionally.
I like the ones with Poldi in the swapped red shirt and his comforting the keeper.

Is he German?
Yes he is German. Although he was born in Poland, his family was part of a German minority in Poland (a part of Poland that belonged to Germany before 1945), that is why his family was allowed to leave Poland for Germany in 1987 (when he was two years old). The same is true with Miroslav Klose.
The ties of these two to Poland are however very strong as one parent is Polish and their parents spent the majority of their lives in Poland.

lol, that is bordering propaganda man.....neither of these guys are from the German minority in Poland......Trust me......they are simply two Polish guys that grew up in Germany and are playing for their NT.....there is nothing really wrong with that aslong as you call it what it is.......I don't understand the need to try and "Germanize" their heritage.....

Thanks. I did read a bit about Poldi though not as knowleageable as u do.
Actually my question was directed @MarioKempes whose remarks was harsh on Podolski.
