A tie will guarantee not ending in last place.

Poland is the master of lost causes. The players will be relaxed and will play for the fun of the game and maybe a bit of prestige, as this may be the last big sporting event for many of Poland's players. I anticipate a highly entertaining affair, wide open and high scoring.

I expect to see Zurawski, Krzynowek, Szymkowiak on the bench. They don't deserve to see the pitch. Well, maybe Szymek less, I would like to see him get out of Turkey, but Zuraw dissapointed me more than anyone on our team. Players that dissapear in big games dont deserve to play in the ones that dont matter either..
Jelen, if he hasn't done so already, will be playing to put the final touches on his transfer to the Bundesliga.
I hope that Brozek plays, so maybe he can finally leave Wisla Krakow, although I'm not entirely sure he wants to.
Bosacki probably caught the eyes of some during the Germany game, and I would love to see him put in another strong performance against CR, but he's 31..I don't think many clubs are looking for a 31 year old central defender. I think that Lech Poznan should be thanking God that they have this player with them for next years UEFA Cup. I think this WC is his last stand with our NT..
Baszczynski, well he hasnt played terrible, but hasnt shown anything overtly special either. I don't expect to see him get transferred. Maybe let Dudka play, I still think that guy has all the potential in the world.
Too bad for Sobo, he was another guy looking to have a good WC so he can get picked up by someone in the Premiership. Unfortunately, good luck for Wisla and the UEFA Cup next year kid.
This is the lineup I would like to see against CR:
..........................Fabianski(nothing against Artur, he has shown his worth)
...Dudka.........Bak.............Bosacki.......Gancarczyk(really want to see him)
..Jelen..........Radomski......Mila..........Kosowski(if healthy)
.............Smolarek............Brozek...................
Subs:
Giza comes on for Mila
Rasiak for Smolarek
Szymkowiak for Radomski

poland gotta win this match if they don't want to get embarrased and become a joke. if they play hard to save face, they will easily beat costa rica.

agree with your line-up karny...but I think Rasiak will get the start...
I am really hoping that Gancarczyk and Brozek show they can be the staples of our team....
I am still waiting on Mila to wake up....last year at this time - I would have thought that he would have been a major star on the rise.....
regarding Zurawski - absolute disappointment - I desperately wanted him to succeed - but with no service from your midfield - and playing a completely different position - is hard.....if szymek would have been presenting his typical trabsonspor form - Zurawski would have 1 or 2 goals
but I am going to look out for him in CL for Celtic next year....Celtic's mf is head above Poland's

As for Żurawski, what did you expect while Janas played with 1 striker. This 4-5-1 system is crap.
Jelen, if he hasn't done so already, will be playing to put the final touches on his transfer to the Bundesliga.
The last place where i want to see Jeleń, is Bundesliga. I would love to see him in french league. He could learn there more. Too many of our players wasted in Bundesliga already.
I hope that Brozek plays, so maybe he can finally leave Wisla Krakow, although I'm not entirely sure he wants to.
The problem with Brożek is that he isn't very effective as a striker. Leaving to other league he would end up on the bench quickly. He needs to play to improve, and Wisła is (IMO) a good place for him for the next 2-3 seasons.
Bosacki probably caught the eyes of some during the Germany game, and I would love to see him put in another strong performance against CR, but he's 31..I don't think many clubs are looking for a 31 year old central defender. Well, he wasn't bad against Germany, but unfortunatelly he usually isn't like in this game.
Baszczynski, well he hasnt played terrible, but hasnt shown anything overtly special either. I don't expect to see him get transferred. Maybe let Dudka play, I still think that guy has all the potential in the world.
Well, Baszczyński didn't impress, but he still has the potential. He has no competition in Wisła, and more than likely has big chances to be transferred.
And as for Dudka ... sorry, but IMO he doesn't deserve to be in the squad. His offensive play is crap and when he loses the ball, he often doesn't return to the defence as fast as he should. And I'm not thinking only about the game vs. Germany.

The thing about Zurawski though, is that I was expecting him to play well no matter what position he was in. From what I saw at Celtic this year, I thought he would make things happen from nothing.
As for Jelen, I heard before the WC that a deal had already been pretty much made for him to switch to a Bundesliga side. But midway through the year there were rumours of him going to France, and I actually read something somewhere last week that said some French clubs were interested in him, so you never know.

Jelen is going to be our biggest star in the future, he is young, fast, intelligent. He is very good, but he has to hit the ball harder that is all he is mising. IMO he is going to be bigger than Zurawski! he is not like the other young polish players he wants to play and will do whatever it takes. Boruc played good with Germany, maybe he lost those 10 pounds during that game? lol

He is 25 though. As far as I'm far from saying he is young, I like his play.

Do you guys think Poland is gonna use a B team?, I mean all the guys that haven't played... cause i feel that CR is gonna use every single player that didn't play vs GER/ECU
