He's holding his finger up in a "one" for the first of many to come.
From the description I saw of the goal, he went in one on one against the keeper, shot, then beat 3 defenders with the rebound and scored.
We'll have to see it to know for sure, I guess.

Hope I get to see the highlights one way or another. I guess this is way people got their sports news back in the day, from play by play and recaps. Well, except without the internet.
