The hopes are that Koller will be back for the round of 16. Rumour has it that Baros won't be back at all for the World Cup and that he wants to return to the Czech Republic. The Czechs of course are saying that this isn't true. Hopefully Baros will return soon...

The Czechs assume that Baroš is out for the entire WC, they just deny he's leaving. Officialy he stays with the team what I personaly believe...

Too bad about Baros, but at least Koller should be back in a few games.

According to the Prague.tv site: According to Czech media reports, it's extremely likely that Milan Baros
will play against Italy in tomorrow's vital game, even though he hasn't
fully recovered from a foot injury.
The 25-year-old striker isn't expected to start the match, however, and
will probably be used as a substitute. Baros completed the Czech team's
90-minute training session yesterday, and says he is ready to play.
"The foot isn't 100 percent and if it wasn't the World Cup, I'd probably
let things slide," he told reporters yesterday. "But we're in a
complicated situation and I want to help the team."
Koller appears to still be out.
Oh, and report from Gelsenkirchen (finally back home): Czech fans were really friendly and spoke English. Watching the game was conflicting, but the Czech team came to play and the USA did not. I watched the Ghana game and it seemed the Czech team was trying to imitate the USA. Ghana really came to play that time. Tomorrow should be interesting: Which teams will show up to play. Here's hoping Czechs win by lots and USA wins by enough :)
