Im not one to really speculate about this stuff. I think it would be slightly ironic if everybody (media stations moreso) made mention of this, only for him to return to Chivas once the World Cup ends. I'd like to see him work in another league, but i would rather have solid proof that he is going as opposed to rumors.

I thought he had a very good game, although he did make a couple of mistakes. However, these mistakes were not critical.

True, but it would be best for him to move over to Europe as soon as possible, to get used to it. You always hear about players having a hard time adjusting; maybe if he gets there early, he won't have that problem.

In an interview with Jorge Ramos before the Venezuela game at the RoseBowl, he made it pretty clear that he had played his last game with Chivas. Jorge asked if he'd insist that any contract with a European team allow him to finish the Libertadores Cup. To my surprise, he very "diplomatically" said he had all the faith in the world in his Ex-teammates and that he had every intension to stay in Europe even if he had to settle for a second tier team. I think he was still pissed off with Vergara for forcing him to attend the Centenario Celebration. He also happy that he had a chance to rest his body for the WC and he admitted that he had been playing like shit for the last couple of months. He blamed Vergara for Chivas' hectic schedule. He planned to come back and retire with Chivas.

I wish him the best of luck. I only hope that he doesn't "settle" and that if he does sign with a big club, (Arsenal and Chelsea, WOW that'd be great!) he doesn't get dicked around and benched like Borgetti.

It would be great if he got over the Vergara thing (if there was something) and help Chivas win the Libertadores.

Arsenal would be awesome, their players are doing well this WC. Definitely would've helped in that CL Final.

I would love it if Carlos came back to play the Libertadores, but it's cool if he gets situated with a Euro club before then. Either way it's cool with me.

If only Vergara could get over himself and keep his mouth shut, player/FO relations would'nt be a problem.

I say he should go to the Spanish league seems Mexicans get more playing time, i think Arsenal wil end up buying another defender in a year and most likly put Salcido on the bench we wouldn't want another Borgetti case would we. So Spain for Salcido is much better that way he gains european experience then possibly a move to the English league for more money!

I think Vergara is waiting to close the deal until the game against Velez...
