I dont see a pre-game thread in the French section so I thought Id make one. I really would like to know what the French think of South Korea and there predictions / game theorys.
My prediction. 2-2 Tie or 1-1.

I'll have to watch the match tonight to make a prediction. I hope we win, but it'll be very difficult for us. We struggled to beat Togo and exposed so much holes in our defense it was downright scary.

Like i said in the France-Suisse post, "As for South Korea I was hardly impressed by there performance. Togo was doing more than holding their own against this "powerhouse" South Korean team, until they lost their top centre back and captain to red card. It was a tough break for the Togolese, who still got good chances to score even after being reduced to 10 men. South Korea is more than beatable, as long as les bleus play strong defence, AND PICK UP THE FCUKING PACE!!!!"

Group G is basically a showdown between France and Switzerland. The outcome (which is obvious) of this game shouldn't even be an issue.
France will take all three points out of this one. Of course the margin will be significant.

I love France and I love Zidane don't get me wrong when I say what I'm about to say......but if France continue toplay like they did against Switzerland... points against Togo and South Korea shouldn't be a foregone conclusion. This performance reminded me of Euro 2004, no sense of urgency to score. France was sleepwalking around the pitch.

France wins this match. If not they don't really deserve to continue. 2-0 to France.

I agree it's a must win and they have to score goals, if they don't then they might as well stop here.

If not they don't really deserve to continue. 2-0 to France.i've put this score into my h2g2 fantasy picks. if i was elsewhere than the france board, modesty would be de mise, but here it's only logical to be confident about the 3 points, with the bémol that not everything in life or sport is logical.

In other terms, drop one defensive mid.
If we're not confident enough to play like that, all of Dom's blah blah is definitely utter BS. Anyway, this kind of guy can swear that we're going all the way and have the nerves to state that we tried everything the moment we're out...

Where is Didier Deschamps, and how quickly can he be flown to Germany!

Nabawan is this directed at me? I was simply stating that we must win against South Korea.

Vieira definately needs to be dropped for the next match. Two defensive mids is starting to look like an anvil tied to the team's collective necks.

When he said "this guy" he was referring to Domenech, so no worries.
