Where did you watch the US match versus the Czechs?

Did you stay at home on the couch? Did you watch it from work? Did you soak it all in at the bar?

Where were you and what was the atmoshere like?

Good question. I watched at home -- not leaving for Germany until tomorrow. More specifically, I was on the sofa, then in the recliner, then behind the sofa, then in a wooden chair I brought in the room for Karma purposes, then standing over the splinters of said wooden chair, then back on the sofa.

Obviously, nothing helped. Must have been the room itself.

On the couch. At halftime I smudged my USA jersey and Uncle Sam hat with sage to cleanse the lethargy that had gotten into the boys. After the third goal I turned it off for awhile. By the end of the match I was glad I hadn't gone into the city to watch, lest I have expended more energy and showed more desire for a victory than the team did.

Watched the match at the Crown & Anchor in Las Vegas with at least 30 other gradually more pissed off and despondant US fans.

Frog Bear & Wild Boar Bar & Restaurant. There were maybe 50 of us at kickoff....only a handful of people at the final whistle.

I read that Columbus Crew Stadium had 1200 fans.

Fado Irish Pub Downtown Chicago. I saw about 20 or so Donovan jerseys. After the game I even saw people at the bar crying. It was pretty sad.

I watched the game at The Highbury, Milwaukee, WI. It is a small bar, but was packed to the gills with 80 very pissed off USA fans.

Watched it with Captain America at Summers in VA. Unfortunately, he didn't have the mask with him. :)
