I came into the WC with 2 teams: the US & Argentina, and will leave with 2 team: US & Argentina
although I must say that T&T has definetly earned a soft spot in my heart, and I will be rooting HARD for them the rest of the way; but when the next cycle starts back up I hope we crush them like we usually do :p

I'm gonna jump on the Ecuadorian bandwagon as well as the T&T bandwagon, I love underdogs and am hoping that one of those two does something great.

I like to follow Poland as well (family roots) and after today's matches, I am temporarily on the Aussie bandwagon.

After the US, it's always Eire, Engerrr-land, and Sweden in that order. I too always like an underdog and T&T really won me over with that performance v Sweden.
So England is my other choice (the US will come back v Italy, of course! ;) ) to win it all but I'm looking for another inspired performance from the plucky Soca Warriors. I even downloaded their very catchy Official Song! :)

USA is my #1...but because of family roots..Brazil, Italy, and Portugal, in that order. Right now, only the US and Brazil can make my heart skip a beat during an opposition's scoring chance. I used to be a big Italy fan, but that federation deals with so much BS, it's hard to enjoy being a fan of theirs.

I also am pulling for the Aussies. We colonials need to stick together. I also pull for the Scandanavians in the tournament, although Sweden is the only rep this time and don't appear intent on sticking around for long.

I'm Italian-American, so Italy and the USA are teams # 1A and 1A in my heart. So, this Saturday will be gut-wrenching, although at least I know one of them will probably go thru. My dream was both advancing out of the group, but that doesn't seem likely at this point.

I am a big fan of the color orange so I root for the Netherlands and Ivory Coast since the US campaign is over this time around.

Germany's my second team. My heritage and that of most people I grew up around and started playing around is German, and the first soccer I got to watch was the old Soccer Made in Germany show. I always rooted for Germany until the US started qualifying teams. Now, once the US gets knocked out, I go back to rooting for Germany. 2002's match-up was difficult to watch.
