Lovely goal by our new lad. Let's hope for more of the same for the Gunners!

Lets just hope he continues to shoot like that next season.
God knows, its been a while since we have had anyone dare to shoot from 10 yards out, let alone score from 35.

That was a truly beautiful goal, but I'm more concerned about his dive earlier!

That goal was an absolute friggin' corker...stunning. Seeing that kinda eases the pain of the scoreline lol.

I agree. His passing and skill also look quite good. It looks like another fine transfer move by Wenger.

In the beginning of the match he saw very little of the ball, and then he even tripped on it, but then he began playing first touch passes and then BANG! I was screaming on the top of my voice...I was rooting so much for him, and i couldn't believe he scored such a superb goal....although from videos i've watched of him its not surprising.
What did the American Arsenal fans feel like?

American/Gooner = mixed emotion.
Happy because it was beautiful goal. Hope he has a dozen or more like that this coming season.
Dejected because we (US) needed a good showing out of the box and 0-2 score in your opener is going to be tough to over come with Italy looming.

And now he nearly scored another one...this time hitting the crossbar!
He makes me laugh...he is just ambles around and glides along and looks so casual, but when hes got the ball he can really do stuff!

Well, it doesn't mean Rosicky is no good, but we certainly do suck today. What a disappointment. As bad as Dave O'Brien's announcing has been, he at least is starting to call the team out a bit for their lack of intensity. They simply were not prepared to play today. Absolutely unprofessional.

Very well said. I have seen Rosicky do this in the Bundesliga.
