Does anyone know if this year's Club World Cup will be shown in the US, and on what channel?

FOX Soccer Channel and FOX Sports en Espanol. LIVE. 2nd year of a 2-year contact between FOX Sports International and Dentsu.

Thanks for the info. Damn, I was hoping it would be on ESPN at least.

ESPN holds the rights effective in 2007 because their new contract includes all FIFA-owned properties.
I have a feeling they'll sublicense the games to Setanta unless they involve Barcelona or Man U.

No.
The Club World Championship is separate from other FIFA properties.
FIFA did a deal with Dentsu to slap the "FIFA" brand onto the "Toyota Cup"
for 2 years, not the other way around.
One would expect Dentsu and FIFA to extend the deal given that no one else seems to want to deal with it.

Cool, thanks!
Perfect fit for FSI, to be honest. Filler, but it involves the Copa Libertadores champion and UEFA Champions League winner, which is basically their niche (ESPN carries the Champions League, but FSC is obviously more targeted to people who watch things like that).
