Screw You Emeril Crowd!

I simply cannot stand Emeril Live. What is it that I cannot stand? The stupid, sh!t for brains audience. They clap and laiugh and get all giggly about the lamest things. Emeril could pick his a$$ and eat it and they would oooooh and ahhhhh. Then he could tell a joke that would draw a polite laugh if a 5 year old told it, and they will laugh like it is the funniest thing ever.

This just feeds Emeril's massive ego, and makes his show unwatchable.

I must confess I've only watched sparingly as I too find him annoying. I don't find the show very informative to actually preparing anything (it's like it's something to keep his hands busy while he runs his mouth). As he has several restaurants I'm sure he's a fine cook but a lousy teacher and an annoying person (what's he on wife 4 or 5 now?)

Emeril Live is the white, suburban equivalent of a gospel revival. Plenty of call-and-response, a kick-ass band, but ultimately devoid of soul.
