Well as the slogan for the World Cup goes it is truly "a time to make friends"... the cosmopolitan atmosphere at the cup certainly fosters a lot of dialogue and interaction between various national groups and fans. It is a joy to see such peaceful relations between sets of supporters from all across the globe, over a pint on a sunny German afternoon.

For the millions of us who couldn't arrange travel plans to Germany, here's our thread. The multicultural atmosphere here on Bigsoccer echoes that of a World Cup; tell us a little about yourself and who you're supporting in Germany.

I don't care who wins, as long as it's not England, I can't stand the hype over a distinctly average team. I also cannot stand most of the players apart from the Liverpool boys, hoping for a Spanish victory as I am in Spain on the same date as the final.
