He was definately off-balance, but it was basically a 1 v 1 and the forward slotted it past his foot as he tried to make a kick save.

Great start to this match with three goals in under 20 minutes.

He was only off his line though because it was a 1 v 1 situation. Like Billy said if Germany plays with a high backline they are gonna get smoked. They can make it outta the group with that defense, but that's about it.

Germany scores again. They had seemed to take the foot off the gas so to speak, but a good build up allowed Klose to score his second of the match. 3-1 Germany.

Yeah, i think i remember something about him playing Basketball in high school. I'm surprised he's playing in Costa Rica. Too bad he's not in MLS, he's an exciting player.

Although the defense was shite there, Jens needs to come out and take that ball. Some of the blame needs to be laid at his feet. It was funny after the goal they showed Jens and then the camera switched to Oliver Khan who didn't look to upset about the goal to say the least.

I really think the Germans are going to have a problem if they keep playing that off-side trap. Even when Costa Rica won that last corner, it was the same thing, it just so happens that that time the defenders got back. I'm not sure why the team is playing that style but it could end bad for them if they don't tighten it up.
