I am going to create this so other results of the games are not discussed elsewhere.
This covers all games played at the World Cup that does not involve France.
Enjoy!

It does look as if they brought their best monocle wearing form today.....

the defence looked a bit suspect to me. Germany could be exposed against a tougher side.

Allez USA! Allez USA!
That's my ironic cheer. France are my number two though. :)
Allez Lyonnais

German football and French football can't coexist. One of 'em has to die out in order for the other to prosper..
I want Germany to fail miserably in this competition.

.
Its true. French football has always been about flair and style while the Germans played football with the efficiency of Honda 4 cyclinder engine.
Its a completely different philiosophy and to put the 2 in a room together is asking for trouble.

Although I must admit I can't quite understand an opinion like that of Allez Lyonnais, I just wanted to wish you good luck for this tournament.
Allez les bleus!
Besides: Don't you agree that the German style of football has undergone some remarkable changes as well? ;)

Well, thanks to England for reviving the long ball. Just when we all thought that god aweful strategy died with Nial Quinn and Ireland, here comes Peter Crouch. What a drab boring match. Bravo England, with all the talent you have to put on the field, this is how you play at the world cup. Just aweful.

Yeah I have to agree. The second half was so boring, England sat on their side of the field and played those negative tactics!

Hats off to T&T after that first half against Sweden!

Germany showed a lot of firepower, but their defense sucks. If Wanchope can score twice vs them, it'll be a walk in the park for world class strikers.
So Allez les Bleus ! Go USA ! And I guess Ivory Coast will be the choice of everyone's heart.
And, of course, England tactic is .... interesting : playing long and wait for the opposite team to put the ball in their own goal out of sheer boredom.

Yes but we won. Look at our Group B neighbours. Sweden played against ten men Trinidad and Tobago and forced the keeper into some nice saves, made chances and passed the ball around well - but didn’t win. I’m sure they would have give anything for the win in those circumstances.
I’ll take 6 more of them if it means we have the World Cup on the 9th of July.
But against Trini it will be a different game. Cooler weather, better ref and a shitter defence to play against. We won’t make the same mistakes Sweden did.
