Yes now I am glad. :D
But you shouldn't judge him by just one performance...he still has 2 games to turn it around and he's just coming off an injury, am I right?
Judge?
I didn't base my statement on your being glad he didn't join Hertha because of how he played.
I'm talking about how he played s#itty and still decided to talk s#it afterwards.
But I see I didn't make that clear. Sorry! :o

and me
he ********ing screwed BVB , even if some think it all was Sammers fault, he was a bitching diva who just loved to hurt the club ... he shall end in hell (and not Schalke that is)
Oh the dramatics!! Get a life!
And in case you can't tell "AMK3", I am the one who has chosen to let bygones be bygones in the Amoroso saga.
I don't support what he did, but both sides screwed up in that affair.
We lost our best goalscorer since Chapuisat and his career has never been the same.
I just choose not to hold grudges like a petulant child.
I can be like a petulant child in other ways!! :D
I guess I'm not a "real fan"........

NO NO NO!! I do not want Koller replaced with another huge striker. I dont like the style that huge strikers force you to play.
I would like someone with some size, but who can keep up with the wingers. This is where Frei would have been great. However, he's out of our price range. Time to look elsewhere.
As I've said on our e-mail list, I will be very disappointed if Ebi Smolarek is in BVB's starting lineup on opening day of the 2006-2007 season.....

Did they not pay £15m for him thou
If you mean Amoroso, yes, more or less. It actually turned out to be more considering we also gave Parma the rights to Evanilson and kept paying them to keep the player on loan.
Our previous management was some kind of stupid.
However, there are sources that say it was mainly the former club president who went crazy.......

hm in TV they said he is fired
but asking won't cost a thing
and at least ask we can, can't we?
TV lied. He's still under contract to Manchester United. As a matter of fact, yesterday, after the match, RvN said he expects to return to Man U.

This is why Zigic could be a possibility he's about 6'8 and fairly fast

No, he isn't anymore. Actually he wasn't really on BVB's agenda. He was just a player they scouted.
He should be on the agenda, but I guess the money he will command will be too much.
Or has someone deemed him "Not good enough for BVB?" ;) :D

The player doesn't have to be that tall.
I haven't seen anything on the German side with Zigic being mentioned. Everything about strikers is still about Frei.
BVB can't really go for "high profile" players as we can't spend the money required to purchase and pay them.
If we have to get someone like that, I think Boubcar Sanogo is the best solution. He's got a year of Bundesliga experience and did very well on a very bad team.
However, again, Kaiserslautern are asking ridiculous money for him right now.......

I don't think jarosik wants to come because he said he wants to either stay in the uk (celtic) or go back to russia

Hindsight is 20/20. Now suppose he breaks his leg in the next match??
Come on man. You can't sit there and say "They should have......"
I was for waiting too, but BVB needed the money to complete the Valdez deal. And after Valdez' performance against England, I think his price would have gone up a little bit too.
BVB did what they had to do. I have no regrets.

That's OK. We don't want players who don't want BVB........
I love Celtic and I have nothing against Russia, but any player who would choose either one over Borussia Dortmund is only worried about money.
And that's also the kind of player we don't need in Dortmund.

No, because Rosicky wanted to move on. You shouldn't keep a player on your team if he doesn't want to play anymore, regardless of how good they are...look at van Nistelrooy rumors

I guess you missed the story
Rosicky wanted to go since a year ... now we got what we at least wanted ... he could have sat out his contract and we got nothing
selling a player not only depends on the team

And we would have gotten less than half of what we did for him when he departed the next season..........
Dude, Tomas Rosicky did not want to be in Dortmund anymore. He'd wanted to leave for almost three years, but Dortmund refused to sell him.
Now, we had to sell him to get the most amount of money we could for him because Tomas Rosicky's transfer fee was part of our original financial recovery plan for the club.
One way or the other, he was leaving this offseson.
It wasn't as simple as "Well, in that case, we would have retained his services, wouldn't we?".
Trust me. Quite a few of us here know what we're talking about when it comes to this situation.........

That was obvious. Apologies for the harshness of my comments in the previous response.
