I was also very impressed with Valdez. If he gives that kind of effort for BVB, he'll be worth the money we paid. As stated earlier, I thought we paid about a million too much.
With that kind of effort week in and week out for BVB, not only will my thoughts be wrong, he'll also be a fan favorite!

Best Paraguayan player by a mile today.
I thought he was the best field player on the pitch for either side.
Maybe I'm biased though...... ;)

Santa Cruz did suck today.
I thought he played like a scared b!tch. And he was the one doing the talking after the match about how the English were "lucky".
The English were "lucky", but not because of anything that punk b!tch Santa Cruz did.
And he has the nerve to run his mouth after he played like s#it.
Just like a BayScummer...... :mad:

Too expensive for our blood. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in Barcelona or Madrid.

He is not a free transfer. He's still under contract to Man U. until 2008. They just let him look for a new club now. There will be a substantial transfer fee involved. Probably over 20M Euros.
