to me, it was a big game...considering the lead the metros would have had in the division if they won...

the fact that they are not upset bothers me a little, not a lot, but a little....maybe that's the problem....oz may have instilled a laid back attitude in them like "don't worry guys...you tried...nice effort"..... our team played with no heart and the fire certainly didn't get the "best of us"...they ran us over and we laid down...

i'd be pretty p1ssed if i flew to chicago, played in those conditions and was blown out by chicago...the only thing worse is if it was dc....

Or maybe in reality Steve (and the rest of the squad) is quite upset, but he chooses to display his anger only behind closed doors and instead show a calmer, more professional facade to the media.

This being the Metro, that's hard to believe. But it's possible.

even thought it is hard to believe i think steve was just being calm about it for the public...i am sure tim had a few words for the team...especially the defense (aka steve himself) in the locker room after the game..but i wasnt there so i dont know for sure

Can you imagine the speech that the fire got from Bob Bradley just prior to taking the field. We beat them 1-0 last time out there in the closing minutes of the game. They came out psyched up for the match and just mopped us up.
