That list is out of date. We also have Rosicky, making 16. Maniche is no longer a Chelsea player (and he was only on loan anyway), although Shevchenko will take his spot (if he's officially signed yet). I saw a report on Sky Sports News this morning saying Arsenal had more players going to the World Cup than any other club in Europe. They didn't give a breakdown of player names though.

Huth's signed for Boro hasn't he ? And Bridge is technically a Chelsea player, but we're at least equal top.

When you think we also have Lauren, Clichy, and Diaby, who I certainly have no problems seeing on the teamsheet. How about that for depth of squad?

That was the list that was in The Sun today. Maybe they had a cut-off date or something?

And perhaps they listed players with the team who they had played the majority of the season with (Bridge).

Perhaps. I did like it when they had us top of the European participants on Sky Sports News this morning. Made you think about the depth of our squad if we can have as many as 16 players there and still have the likes of Flamini, Lauren, Clichy, Diaby and other young players in theory backing them up.

So, both Chelsea and ManU have a larger french presence than Arsenal?

And just as minimal bearing of gifts to the England squad...3 for MANuRE, Chelski, and Arsenal.

Interesting indeed.

del horno wasn't in the WC either, so that puts Arsenal into #1 for sure...

This may be the most suggestive thread title of all time. Bar our OT forum, but we all know what goes on there.

Back on topic, the list is even more impressive if you only look at starting WC players.
