I have made a deal with person A to buy a ticket for Argentina-Ivory Coast on Saturday. We attempted an online transfer a few nights ago, but it's still untransferred on the website and so it probably hasn't been entered before the two-day barrier. This is a resale ticket and person A doesn't have the ticket - it is to be picked up at the Ticket Office. Since I might not be able to go to a ticket office tomorrow (Friday) will I still be able to pick up the ticket on Saturday (match day)? Can we just go the route of a third-party pickup (the third-party being me) and opt not to do the transfer? I know the FIFA website says that you must exchange tickets for online transfers at least a day before, but that is under the section for tickets already printed. Does anyone have a clarification on this?
I'm prepared for ridiculously long queues - I expect to get to the ticket office on Saturday about 12 hours before the match.
