My Winning Eleven World Cup

I created a World Cup tournament in my Winning Eleven 9 (6 star difficulty). I created all of the missing teams as well. I played as Italy, and the first games of Group E were Italy beating Ghana 3-0, and the US defeated the Czech's 2-1. In the second game against the US, I scored an early goal, but McBride tied it. Then, I was lucky as Donovan hit the post. Then I scored 2 goals to win 3-1. In the last game, I tied 0-0 with Czech, and they finished last in the group, US finished third because they lost to Ghana. In the second round I knocked off Sweden rather easily 2-0. The Quarter-final was my most exciting game. I faced France, and they scored in the first minute through Henry. The whole game was an attacking affair, with many shots on goal and saves. Down 1-0 in injury time, I lobbed in a speculative cross, Camoranesi headed it, it hit the bottom of the crossbar and went in. In extra-time, it was pretty boring until the 119th minute, right before penalties, Pirlo launched Totti on a breakaway, who slotted it past Barthez. In the semi's, I had to face England. I dominated the match but couldn't score. It was 0-0 in stoppage time and it looked like it was going to extra-time when Gerrard passed to Lampard, who unleashed a rocket into the upper corner! That eliminated me. Then in the third place game I beat Argentina 3-1, and England won the WC, defeating Brazil 2-1.

How exactly did you create the missing teams? Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire have enough players in the game to create those teams, but there are hardly any players from Angola, Togo, or Trinidad & Tobago... (not even enough to make a team when you combine all the players from those countries)... how did you create them?

Brasil v. France, World Cup Semifinals, FIFA RTWC '98. France had gone up 2-0 in the first half, and an exchange of nasty fouls had left both teams with nine men on the pitch. I (playing as Brasil) brought the Selecao level late in the match, and Romario scored the winning (Golden) goal after an incredible run up the middle. Brasil wins 3-2 and goes on to win the Cup with a 5-0 rout of Mexico in the final. I still regard that semi as the most exciting NT game I have ever played.

These two worthy opponents were part of the same tournament, and they illustrate some of the best football I have ever played. I simply could do no wrong in either match. Should have smelled the BS coming, tho- the CPU handed me a loss to Poland in the final.
